How my 1 year old nephew reminded me of gun control zealots

While spending Christmas with family I had the chance to observe my nephew (who is 11 months old) at play.  Watching him reminded me of the maturity level and well versed opinions of the majority of gun control zealots.

We were playing with blocks and all he wanted to knock down the towers no matter how well they were made or how strong their foundation.  He just didn’t like the look of any tower that was made by his mom or me and as such he dictated that they must be utterly destroyed.

Much like the rabid gun control zealots like Dianne Feinstein.  She wants to ban all guns, regardless of the constitutional protections provided, based on her own sense of being the center of the universe and the fact that she doesn’t like the look of them, much like my young nephew.  At least he’s under a year old and has an excuse.  Sen. Feinstein is 79 years old.  You would think she would have learned something about being less self centered in all those years.

Also, at least my nephew wasn’t a hypocrite and only wanted towers for himself.  He just didn’t want ANY towers built.  I doubt Feinstein on the other hand, on top of being a CCW permit holder, is going to forgo armed security for herself or her family.  I guess when you think you are privileged like Feinstein believes, you and your family are just more important than those of “regular” people.

This hypocrisy seems to extend to gun control zealots in general as I doubt that David Gregory or President Obama will call off the armed guards who protect their children while at school.  Even as they mock the suggestion that armed guards at “regular” schools as silly.

Hmmm…maybe I shouldn’t say that my nephew acts like gun control zealots.  He lacks the hypocrisy found in the gun control movement and he doesn’t whine or cry nearly as much as they do.  Though when he drops a boom boom in his diapers it does smell like their policies suggestions.

If you want to join the fight against the gun control toddlers that want to knock down the Constitution like it were a tower of blocks they don’t like, join today.

I agree, however, as you can tell from the troll’s that always accompany these articles. There are far to many people in this country that have successfully deluded themselves into believing what they have been told by politicians and media. And even those that ARE against this tyrannical reign of terror, many of them don’t have the fortitude required to launch a successful rebellion against it. I’ve already started seeing many “patriots” back pedal away from their ideals in the presence of these impending threats. They each have their own “excuse” for doing so, be it religion, or pacifism, or whatever the case might be. The truth is, its just plain FEAR. The government is using FEAR to gain the support of both the “believers” as well as the “non-believers”. The only ones we can depend on are those that are not intimidated by FEAR! We need those that are motivated by HOPE! The time is coming when each individual person will need to come to terms with who they REALLY are. In the face of great conflict is when you are truly defined. I only hope there are enough people left in this country who are brave enough to fight for liberty when the guns get drawn. By passing gun control the bureaucrats will be drawing a line in the sand, and DARING us to step over it. I believe it is their intention to start a civil war. It will provide them the excuse to all the “believers” that they are justified in declaring martial law and enslaving the people. Once we as a people have been rendered defenseless it will be of no effort to complete the total capitulation of our nation. See you on the battlefield, either next to me, or in front of me.

msaizbrenner – you have hit the nail right on the head. Many people, including those who claim to be patriots are cowards when it comes to standing up for what it right- if it takes sacrifice. I try to sound the alarm with friends and family , but am largely ignored, or marginalized as an extremist. They blissfully get their news from abc, cbs, nbc, cnn etc. (even fox is now partially in the bag). We are still too comfortable, but I fear that by the time most patriots wake up the battle will be much more costly.

I fear this is the way it will have to be. And so once again, as it has been throughout history, It will require the sacrifice of many in oceans of blood, to teach a lesson that should have already been learned.

Perhaps the good Senator should be reminded that if it were not for guns she may not ever have made it through life, much less to being a senator.

You can be sure she is already aware. And it is that fact that has infused her with such intent. They are hypocrites. They KNOW what guns mean. Any they want to be the ONLY ones who can have them. They are using fear against the American people to eliminate opposition. They aren’t interested in our safety. They are only interested in our surrender.

I wouldn’t mind if they took all the guns away so long as they start with politicians, anyone that works for them directly or indirectly, and everyone that makes over 500,000 a year. Once they have all those guns, I will “think” about letting them have mine. Of couse that will never happen.

I am a legal gun owner who submitted to background checks, completed the appropriate training, and take gun ownership seriously. As law-abiding citizens we are expected to navigate the labyrinth of conflicting state laws regarding firearms and we do successfully everyday. Although many of these laws are conflicting between neighboring states, we still respect them and abide by them everyday. Let’s make it easy for everyone (including David Gregory) and develop a basic framework across the United States.

With 300 million firearms in private hands (one-third of them pistols), the overwhelming majority of gun owners ARE responsible, law-abiding citizens, which is why these horrific massacres are not commonplace, but rather horrific outliers that can never be legislated away (e.g. DC, Chicago, and “Gun Free Zones”).

For several examples for the recent use of firearms for defensive purposes not typically reported by the national media please visit: please forward this address to others to whom this information may be useful. @forceequalizer

Maybe after the next civil war there will be less Liberials, but I am not sure since they wont fight to save their own worthless lives. Liberials are like cockroaches they cause all manner of ills, but are never around to pay the piper when it comes to fixing the problem. They are the Problem, Liberialism should be included as a direct attack upon the Constitution. if it wasn’t for liberialism America would be as strong as ever.
